A finite element model for pipelines of novel dual-wave shock testing machine was built by means of FLUENT code. The flow field and the temperature field of the pipelines in different status were analyzed. Simulation results show that the temperature of the pipelines rises about 3°C in operation status, which will not affect the use of the dual-wave shock testing machine.

Dynamic Responses of Three Kinds of Ship Alloy Steels
ZHAO Peng-duo,DU Jian-ye,ZHANG Lei
   2012, 32 (6): 17-20.   DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1006-1335.2012.06.004

The dynamic compression properties of three kinds of alloy steels (material A,  B and C) were tested with the split Hopkinson pressure bar (SHPB) in the range of strain rate 500 s-1~7 500 s-1 respectively. The experimental results show that the yield stress of material A is the largest, and that of material B is the smallest.  The strain rate effects of both materials A and B are not obvious in the range of strain rate 500 s-1~6 000 s-1,  and weak strain rate effects appear in the range of strain rate 6 000 s-1~7 500 s-1.  The dynamic stress-strain curves of both materials A and B have strain hardening phenomena. The strain rate effect of material C is not obvious in the range of strain rate 500 s-1~7 500 s-1,  but the strain hardening phenomenon is remarkable.

Aiming at the problem of large vibration in the idle state, the vibration testing and hammering modal experiment were done for 6830CR1 bus. The natural frequency and intrinsic characteristics of the entire bus were obtained. It is found that the main factor influencing the bus vibration is the vibration of chassis beam transmitted from the engine, and this factor is closely related with the idle speed. Through the structural simulation analysis of the chassis and comparison of the result with that of the modal testing, it is determined that the bus vibration is a coupling problem between the idle operating frequency and the natural frequency of the chassis. Finally, the phenomenon of coupling resonance is eliminated by improving the local structure of the chassis.

   2011, 31 (2): 103-106.   DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1006-1355-2011.02.025

An MRFD force model is established for damper force characteristic investigation through theoretical analysis. Force characteristic of MRFD was studied experimentally in self-made testing equipment. The relationships between force and displacement, force and current, force and velocity were tested. The damper force of MRFD for a given velocity is predicted by the theoretical model. The experiment results show that the theoretical model and the experimental data are in agreement, and the damping coefficient can reach 3.5.
