Study on Shock Response Characteristics of Nonlinear Rubber Isolator

To study on nonlinear shock response characteristics of rubber vibration isolators, taking into account the damping effect of nonlinear characteristics; a parameter model of 8 parameters was established , which was used to describe the shock response of rubber vibration isolator with displacement of hysteresis characteristics. Selecting a type of hard-rubber vibration isolators for the study, drop impact experiment was implemented with different conditions of shock response of rubber vibration isolators, as well as the impact of different speeds, shock stiffness under shock pulse width. Through optimal fitting of parameters, results showed that measured response is similar to the predictied value of the basic model.
