Study on the Influence of Rubber Block Materials on NVH Performance of Vehicle Door

A model for NVH performance simulation for vehicle’s door subsystem is established based on FEM (Finite Element Method). A set of material test methods is developed to acquire the mechanical property of vibration isolating rubber block in complex technological conditions. Parameters of different materials are incorporated into the simulation model. By comparison of the results, the influence of different materials of the vibration isolating rubber blocks on the NVH performance of vehicle’s door subsystem can be found. This work may provide with guidance for selection of the materials of vibration isolating rubber blocks and for improvement of material proparation.
