The effect of noise of rolling bearing is paid attention greatly by engineering industry. On the basis of the theory of nonlinear mechanics and noise radiation and propagation, a nonlinear contact model of noise of rolling bearing with surface waviness is established. The 6202 ball bearing is analyzed. The effect of the number of waves, the maximum and primary amplitude of the surface waviness on sound pressure level (SPL) of rolling bearing are emphatically researched. The results show that there is a quasi-trigonometric functional relationship between SPL and the number of waves. The SPL increases with the addition of the primary amplitude. Based on the number of waves., the relationship of SPL and the maximum amplitude can be determined.
