Formulas on calculating power flow level difference by finite element method are presented for mechanical structures like isolator, beam, plate and combined parts. Through the computations on finite element power flow level difference and vibration level difference for the combined structure, the merits of these two kinds of evaluation methods arecompared. Computational results show that synthetic considering of vibration level difference and power flow level difference in design can get more feasible reduction effects.
