Based on the analysis of vibration signal measured in an aeroengines case testing and the analysis of the structural characteristics of the aeroengine, the abnormal vibration in bench test is studied. The result shows that the clearance and eccentricity of the bearing system of the lowpressure turbine are the main contribution to the abnormal vibration. It also shows that combining modern signal process technique with pertinent analysis method, the fault in aeroengine can be located quickly and accurately.
