Discussion on Aircraft Noise Evaluation Parameters in Airport and Their Limited Values

The shortcomings of current airport noise evaluation parameters, which include weighted equivalent continuous perceived noise level (WECPNL), are analyzed. According to the above analysis, equivalent sound level Leq and sound exposure level (SEL) are proposed as the new airport noise evaluation parameters. Annoyance and sleep disturbance caused by the aircraft noise are analyzed in detail. And the limitation values of corresponding noise evaluation parameters are suggested.
