Based on the original hydraulic overhang the design of the electrorheological fluiols overhang structure with a circular damping channel is carried out. Engine electrorheological fluid model with adjustable damping is established. Equation of state dynamic stiffness and damping angle are derived. The mount dynamic characteristics is simulated using MATLAB code. The simulation results are analyzed, and the effects of the main parameters on the characteristics of overhang are obtained.

In virtue of the dual mass flywheel (DMF), the torsional vibration and noise of vehicle power train can be controlled effectively. And the vehicle power train can be well protected from impact loading. Taking an indigenous vehicle as an example, a kind of torsional dampers, the two-grade elastic characteristic DMF, is investigated. The influence of DMFs dynamic parameters (mass, stiffness and damping) on the function of the power train are analyzed theoretically. A three-dimensional model is built and the numerical simulation is carried out. The optimal parameters of the DMF are gained.
