Simulation of Radiation Noise of a Tire

The finite element model of a tire was established by means of ABAQUS. The modal of the tire was computed and also measured in testing. The results were compared each other and the correctness of the finite element model was verified. Then, the rolling process of the tire on the road was simulated, and output of the reaction force of the road was obtained. Based on the concept of acoustic transfer vector, the MATV technology was used to compute the radiation noise response of the tire under the random excitation, and the results were analyzed and discussed.
