Firstly, using field testing, the vibration characteristics of the buildings, wavespropagation laws and influencing factors of structural vibrations nearby the trackline induced by moving trains are studied. Then, the traingroundtrench and barrierbuilding coupled dynamic model is established to analyze the influences of four structural parameters, such as the trench depth, the trench length, the distance from the trench to the building and the filledin materials, on the effect of isolation of the traininduced vibrations. The esults show that the structural vibration induced by moving trains is lowfrequency vibration; and the structures have attenuating functions to the highfrequency vibrations. Higher train speed, longer length of the train, and heavier load will induce larger structural vibrations. The increase of structural vibration level shows zigzag tendencies with the increase in floor elevation. The changes of trench depth, the trench length, the distance from the trench to the building and the filledin materials have large influence on

the vibration isolation effect.
