The strong vibration problem of the outlet pipelines of the reciprocating compressor group of Yaha oil gathering station is investigated. Employing the PAP software developed by Xian Jiaotong University, a practical and effective model of the pipeline system is established. The natural frequencies of the outlet pipelines, the natural frequencies of the gas system in the pipes, and the pulsation of the gas flow are calculated, and the cause of vibration is found. According to the results of computation, a practical scheme is presented to control the system vibration. The vibration of the pipeline system is reduced significantly.
